Terms and Conditions of Airprt Cheap Taxi Manchester (Airport Cheap Taxi)

All business between clients and Airport Cheap Taxi is conducted under the terms and conditions outlined on this website. When a client places an order, it is assumed that they agree to all the terms and conditions presented here.

By placing an order through our website, phone, or via email, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts and are at least 18 years old.

  • Airport Cheap Taxi cannot be held responsible if any of our passengers miss their flights, trains, or cruise ships due to unforeseeable circumstances such as traffic conditions, adverse weather, road traffic accidents, or road closures. These factors are beyond our control. We strongly recommend that our passengers have appropriate travel insurance.
  • We advise our passengers to travel with necessary travel insurance.
  • For taxi transfers, we recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance, as last-minute bookings depend on vehicle availability. If a last-minute booking cannot be accommodated due to vehicle unavailability, we will cancel the booking and issue a full refund if prepaid. If you plan to book within the next 24 hours, please call our office to ensure vehicle availability before booking online.
  • No refunds will be given to passengers who do not wait for their allocated driver and use an alternative transportation facility.
  • Ensure that all pick-up dates and times are in the UK time zone, not the departure airport's time zone. In case of serious flight delays, please inform us or the driver as soon as possible.
  • If your flight has any serious delays please inform us or the driver as soon as possible.
  • Our normal luggage allowance includes one suitcase (80 x 45 x 25cm, 15-20 kgs) and/or one piece of hand luggage (55 x 40 x 20 cm, 6-8 kgs). If you have larger or multiple pieces of luggage, please request the appropriate vehicle.
  • The driver may request advance payments for cash journeys exceeding 10 miles if deemed necessary.
  • If the information provided by the customer during the online booking form is insufficient, we will make every effort to contact the customer for clarification. Unconfirmed bookings due to lack of customer response will remain unconfirmed.
  • All reservations on the following dates and times are subject to extra 50% surcharge on top of the published prices. Passengers will be notified of this surcharge soon after the booking is made online.
    • 24th Dec 18:00 until 26th Dec 23:59
    • 31st Dec 18:00 until 1st Jan 23:59
    • Other days may also be affected.

Pricing Policy

Our pricing is calculated online based on distance, time of travel, the number of passengers, and the chosen vehicle type.

In-Cab Card Terminal Charges

There are no extra transaction charges for in-cab card payments if the card is registered in the UK or EEA (European Economic Area).

Non-European and corporate cards will incur a 5% surcharge.

Waiting Time

The first hour after the actual landing time of a plane is free waiting time. After the first free hour, waiting time is charged at £35/hour pro rata, regardless of the reason. Waiting time for non-airport pick-ups is charged at £35/hour pro rata after a 10-minute grace period. It's essential to provide a reachable contact telephone number, and passengers should call us in case of unusually long delays due to immigration, baggage reclaim, customs, or other reasons, to avoid driver release and any refund issues.

Toll Charges

Our fares include all applicable toll charges.

Amendment Policy

Amendments to bookings should be made via email or phone, not with the driver.

Re-Booking Policy

All bookings and return bookings should be made directly with our office via our website, email, or telephone. Private hire drivers are not allowed to book journeys directly.

Cancellation charges apply as follows:

  • You can cancel your bookings at anytime, however charges will apply as follows.
  • Cancellations made more than 12 hours before the pick-up time: Full refund minus 7% or £10 (whichever is higher).
  • Cancellations made within 12 hours of the pick-up time or later: No refunds.
  • All cancellations must be made via email or telephone. No refunds are issued if the passenger doesn't show up for any reason.
  • If the passenger doesnt show up for whatever reason, no refund will be issued.
Illustrations, photographs, or descriptions on our websites are for guidance only and not binding. Fare prices for all vehicles may change without notice. Any errors or omissions in sales literature, quotations, price lists, invoices, or other documents issued by us will be corrected without liability on our part. While we primarily use our own fleet, we may use selected taxi partner companies to provide services if necessary.

Terms of Carriage

  • Prices are based on passengers being ready to travel at the booked time.
  • Passengers must consider check-in times and airline guidelines.
  • We are not liable for costs incurred due to insufficient travel time.
  • Passengers are responsible for allowing adequate time for travel, considering unforeseen circumstances.
  • We are not responsible for any loss or damage to luggage.
  • We may refuse service if there is excessive luggage that could affect safety.
  • Child seats are subject to availability and fitting is the responsibility of the parent.
  • Drivers may stop for fuel if necessary.
  • The customer must specify pick-up times separate from flight arrival times to avoid driver release and additional costs.

General Applications

Airport Cheap Taxi shall not be liable to the client or be considered to be in breach of the Contract by reason of any delay in transfers and delivery or any failure to perform if the delay or failure was due to any cause beyond our reasonable control.
  • Act of nature, explosion, flood, tempest, fire or accident, volcanic ash clouds
  • War or threat of war, sabotage, insurrection, civil disturbance or requisition
  • Acts, restrictions, regulations, byelaws, prohibitions or measures of any kind on the part of any governmental, parliamentary or local authority
  • Traffic accidents, traffic hold ups, traffic congestion, diversions
  • Strikes, lockouts or other industrial actions or trade disputes (whether involving employees of the service provider or of a third party);
  • Flight delays, flight cancellations
  • Power failure or breakdown in machinery including our dispatch computer systems and apps.
  • Subject as expressly provided in these Conditions, all warranties, conditions or other terms implied by statute or common law are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
The Contract shall be governed by the laws of England & Wales.

Additional Terms & Conditions Account Customers

Payment for Services

It is a condition of this agreement that invoices shall be paid in full within 10 working days of invoice print date. Should any invoice not be paid within 10 working days any outstanding invoices shall immediately become due and payable.

Credit Limit

At any time, the Company may set a limit on the total amount which may be outstanding as unpaid on the Customers account at any one time. The company may in its discretion refuse to provide the Services in the event of this limit being exceeded.

Account Number

The customer will be issued with an account number which must be quoted on all bookings. Notwithstanding the aforesaid, the Company does not accept any responsibility whatsoever when security account numbers are used by unauthorised personnel and/or for unauthorised purposes.

Insurance

We do not have insurance for goods or property (of whatsoever nature) in transit and the Customer is advised to have such insurance as the Customer deems necessary for the carriage of goods and/or property by us.

Delivery

Airport Cheap Taxi shall use reasonable endeavours to deliver the Customer and the Customers goods or property on time, however time for delivery shall not in any event be of the essence and the Company makes no warranty that the Customer or Customers goods or property shall be delivered within the Customers stipulated time period.

Claims

Without prejudice to the foregoing provisions of this Agreement the Company shall not in any event be liable for any loss and/or damage howsoever arising including but not limited to liability arising from the acts, omissions or negligence of the Company and/or its employees and/or agents and arising otherwise howsoever unless the Customer has notified the Company (with reasonable particularity) as to the nature and extent of such loss or damage within 15 working days of the date upon which the same occurred.

Lien

Without prejudice to the Companys rights hereunder, or arising otherwise howsoever, Airport Cheap Taxi reserves the right to exercise a lien over the Customers goods and/or property pending payment in full or outstanding invoices.

Resolution Of Disputes and Governing Law

The parties hereto submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales

Protecting Your Security

You agree that we may use Personal information provided by you in order to conduct appropriate anti-fraud checks. Personal Information that you provide may be disclosed to a credit reference, or fraud prevention agency, which may keep a record of that information.

All bookings are subject to these conditions. We reserve the right to revise these terms & conditions at any time without prior notice & at our sole discretion. Any revised terms and conditions will be posted on our websites and will come into effect immediately.
